General Information about  Purchasing and Using Inflatable Letters

This document details general information that you should consider when purchasing inflatable items such as those

shown on this web site.  Please read this document carefully before using or purchasing our products or any other

similar products.

Purchasing

The quality of the seams and thickness of PVC are important to the durability of the product. Our product is tested

and guaranteed to be of high quality straight out of the package.  Each letter is inflated mechanically and tested for

air-tightness for at least 12 hours before being packaged and shipped. 

  Directly after receiving your letters, you will want to examine them, particularly the seams, to make sure there

are no defects in workmanship that will cause the letter to leak, such as mismatched seams or accidental punctures

caused during shipping.

Even though most websites (including this one) utilize encryption methods to protect your data while ordering

products online, there is almost always some possibility (however small it may be) of risk involved in sending your data

electronically.  If you prefer to provide your information in an e-mail (although there is again still some risk involved),

regular mail, or directly over the phone, this option should be available, and you may want to consider utilizing this

option instead.

Usage

General instructions for using inflatable letters:

Inflatable PVC items in the shape of letters and numbers are for decorational purposes only.  They should not be used

as floatation device or as a toy or used for any other than mentioned on the packaging.

Young children or any person not in full control of their mouth or other body movements, should not be left alone

with inflatable letters or other small inflatable objects.  The PVC letters and numbers, as well as the nylon cord often

used for mounting, could possibly present (choking) hazards if children get tangled in the cord or chew off the valve plug.

Inflatable letters are not edible or chewable.

Keep inflatable PVC products away from fire or other direct sources of heat. Not only will these items emit noxious

smells when burning, but the burning material can also be dangerous to your person.

  Do not use helium, or any other gas besides air, for inflation. Do not over inflate, as the seams could burst. 

Oral inflation advised - do not use a pump or other apparatus (as this increases the risk of over-inflation).

For temporary use only. If left inflated for extended periods of time (for example, longer than 30 days), inflatable

products may begin to lose their firmness. Generally you can reinflate them with few problems, but again, this may

depend on the quality of the product and the conditions in which the product has been displayed.  If the letters have

been exposed to periods of warmth and cold (sunshine, a heater), the expansion and shrinkage of the air inside due to

the temperature differences may seem to ‘stretch’ the material.
